Frequently Asked Questions
01. What exactly is IQ International?
A multi-sector investment, intelligence and execution platform. We connect commercial opportunities with the partners, capital, market access and delivery capability required to realise them, and we hold accountability for the passage from opportunity to execution.
02. How is IQ International different from a consultancy?
A consultancy delivers a recommendation and exits. We continue through capitalisation, execution, monitoring and monetisation, and a material part of our return depends on whether the opportunity succeeds.
03. Are you a holding company?
No. We coordinate rather than own. Participation in the opportunities we structure is selective, which keeps us capital-light and neutral enough to coordinate partners we do not compete with.
04. Do you provide the capital?
Our role is to make opportunities investable and connect them to appropriate funding, including project finance pathways. We may take selective participation where alignment matters, but we are a structurer and coordinator of capital, not principally a source of it.
05. Which sectors do you work in?
Thirteen, spanning healthcare, energy, infrastructure, industry, real assets, commerce and technology. The lifecycle we apply is the same across all of them.
06. Where do you operate?
Our current focus is Egypt, within an established corridor across the UAE, the wider GCC and Africa, supported by international operating and delivery capability across many countries.
07. What is IREPort?
Our reporting and intelligence environment. With dashboards, consolidated data and AI-supported reporting, it gives management a single current view across the whole portfolio a command centre rather than a reporting pack.
08. How do you make money?
Through a diversified model: recurring platform and sector fees, transactional fees for origination and coordination and performance-linked fees including selective participation.
09. Who do you work with?
Governments and public authorities, sponsors and opportunity owners, investors and lenders, product and technology owners, and EPC, delivery and operating partners.
